First-Generation Keeper

Terry Lavell Taylor Jr.

recording as “Governed Man

Terry Jr. ben Terry Sr., of the Bet Av of Taylor, of the tribe of Yahudah

The Bet Av of Taylor is documented lineage, father to son. The tribe of Yahudah is covenant identity — held by conviction and calling, not claimed as documented genealogical descent.

Month 2 · Day 24

I am Terry Lavell Taylor Jr. I was given the name of my father, and of his father before him — but this walk I was not given by any man. I received it from Yahuah Himself. And so, in this house, the Torah walk does not come down to me as an inheritance; it begins with me. I am a first-generation keeper.

We begin this here. So that my sons, and the sons of my sons who may read this and never see my face, will not have to start from nothing as I did. The naming covenant of this house is already three generations deep without a gap — Terry → Terry Jr. → Terry III — and it is set down now as a forward charge, not a claim that it has always been so.

I record under the name Governed Man, and I place this whole house under the standard of the tribe of Yahudah — held by conviction and calling, the way a man takes up a banner, not the way a man proves a bloodline.

[In his own words — Terry's testimony, to be set down here in his own hand.]
